St. Bridget’s Convent is a private girls’ school situated in Colombo 7. It was founded in 1902 by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd Congregation, who administer it to this day.
The school is located at C W W Kannangara Mawatha, and comprises a Collegiate, Primary and Montessori school.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent in the liturgical calendar, a season of reflection, fasting, and prayer leading up to Easter.
The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev Fr Ranga Shehan this morning at the John Eudes Hall.
May this solemn journey through the season of Lent, encourage us to reflect on our spiritual lives, seek repentance, and prepare our hearts for the resurrection of Jesus Christ celebrated on Easter.

☘️The Annual Inter House Sports Meet 2025 of St Bridget's Convent, Collegiate school was held on Thursday 27th of February 2025 at the NCC grounds.
☘️Mrs Rishdha Zarook Ishaq - a distinguished past pupil graced the occasion with her elegant presence.
🧡Coudert House emerged the overall Major games champions while 💜 Griaux House emerged the overall athletic champions !
