30th June to 3rd July 2023:
A Girl Guiding camp based on the theme SEZONA or Seasons was organized for the 20th Colombo (St. Bridget’s) Girl Guides from at the School’s Banyan Tree area. Girl Guides from Grade 8 to A/L participated on the camp. The campers were divided into 4 groups. The groups were Winter, Summer, Spring and Autumn. They spent 4 days and 3 nights in the campsite. There were so many fun and challenging activities included in the camp such as a Hike to Viharamahadevi Park, a Hike Cooking, a Treasure Hunt and games. The Sunday Mass was held at the School Chapel. On Sunday, the 2nd of June, a Campfire was organized for the parents, siblings and for the Sisters. The Guides entertained the audience with their talents. It was a great experience for the Girl Guides of the 20th Colombo.
July 1st 2023:
Free Being Me Badge Awarding Ceremony
Kinoli Perera, Kemini Suriyage and Vishmaja Pooranakumaran, Girl Guides of 20th Colombo were awarded the Free Being Me Badge Award at the National Headquarters in Colombo.
SLGGA hosted three Free Being Me programme training sessions for Guides over 12-days during the lock down period.

Vishmaja Pooranakumaran, Girl Guide of 20th Colombo was selected to represent the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association(SLGGA) for the international event,
The Asia Pacific Region Wagggs Intergenerational Leadership Roundtable at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
7th June 2023:
The following Girl Guides passed President’s Guides Award Final Interview on. They passed their President’s Guide written exam, practical exam and final interview.

Five Girl Guides from the 20th Colombo participated in the “Defence Expo Cum Seminar 2023″ at Hotel Taj Samudra which was organized by the Indian High Commission
5th June 2023:
Guides of 20th Colombo participated in the World Environment Day program organized by the THURU KEPAKARU organization together with the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association and the Ministry of Environment on at the Viharamahadevi Park.
4th June 2023:
Two Girl Guides from 20th Colombo participated in “WALK FOR GOLD”, a walk organized by the Indira Cancer Trust to raise awareness of child cancer and the first paediatric palliative care centre of Sri Lanka ‘Suwa Arana’ at the independence square monument.
21st of March 2023:
Sri Lanka Girl Guides Associations’ 106th Birthday flag was pinned on president Ranil Wickramasinghe on the . Guide Kavithma Wickramasinghe participated at this event.
As the 2nd activity for the Thinking Day, Girl Guides and Little Friends of 20th Colombo took part in cleaning the Moratuwa Murawatta Beach.
23rd of February 2023:
The Girl Guides and Little Friends of 20th Colombo joined together at the St. John Eudes Hall to celebrate the Thinking day 2023
27th December 2022:
Girl Guide Colombo Zone organized a Christmas Carols program “SING ALONG” at the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Headquarters. Five Girl Guides from 20th Colombo participated in this program.
10th of December 2022:
The Annual General Meeting of SLGGA was held at the BMICH. Damindee De Silva of 20th Colombo participated at this meeting.
The President’s guide Award was awarded to Kemini Suriyage and Kinoli Perera , Girl Guides of 20th Colombo.
30th January to 3rd February 2022:
Oneli Wanigasena and Minagi Kaluarachchi, Girl Guides of 20th Colombo got selected to take part in the 24th International Adventure Camp 2022 which took place from in India.
