A talk was conducted on 4th of April 2023 to educate members of the staff on the policy of the Good shepherd congregation worldwide and within the school environment by which responsibility is assumed for all children and person/s in vulnerable situation/s, to ensure their safety and protection from any intentional or unintentional maltreatment or abuse. This policy extends to all within the Congregation’s care and concern in any type of ministry, short term or long term.

The resource person  present was Mrs Onalie De Silva Ariyabandu, an International Development Professional  with a focus on Rights, Education and Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls. She currently serves as the Regional Manager Asia Pacific for the Good Shepherd International Foundation – working closely with the Good Shepherd Mission across Asia Pacific.
